You can't help but to love it. Love me some trini food-- thanks to my Trinidadian hubby! The addition of tender potatoes brought a comforting heartiness to the dish, balancing the spices beautifully. I also bought a shandy in the flavor of lime and I absolutely loved it. I always get the sorrel one which is the original but this time I wanted a change and I wasn't disappointed! The restaurant gives a back at home in the island feel. Very chill while Caribbean music was playing. Almost didn't want to leave. The staff was friendly which added to the overall enjoyment. “ Rating for food Joys is truly a delight. We came in on Carnival Sunday to get some food and ended up spending 5hrs just eating vibing listening to music. We had the chicken roti, shrimp roti, oxtail and also tried the pepper shrimp. Everything was delicious. I was a little disappointed in the pepper shrimp. Just not what I expected but overall food was delicious and vibe was nice ”

The doubles were fresh and delicious and the perfect appetizer and only $3. My rum punch was good and strong and my snapper was fried perfection and fresh !
